Partner tiers: the ladder, the facts and when it moves

The milestones behind a partner's rate: which rung you are on, what each rung above asks for next to your own figure, when you can move up, and why a move down only happens in April.

Partner

Tiers shows the milestones behind your rate: the rung you are on, what each rung above it asks for, and your own figure next to every ask. Nothing here is a score. A requirement is either met or not yet, and no requirement is weighed against another.

How you move

  • You can move up at a quarter start (January, April, July or October), once the facts justify it.
  • You can move down only at the April recalculation, so a rate never drops partway through a year.
  • If your facts already justify a higher rung, the page says so and names the month the move can apply, instead of showing you as already there.
  • Every move is listed under History with its date and whether it was a promotion, a demotion or a manual change.

What the counts mean

The counts cover your trailing twelve months of customers who started paying and customers who are still paying. No customer is named on this page. The thresholds themselves are shown on each rung, so they are always the ones the recalculation uses.

What this page refuses to do

  • It does not show a rung you are not on. If your programme was set up individually, it says you are on no standard rung.
  • It does not turn a failed read into an empty ladder. If the numbers could not be loaded, it says so.
  • It does not award points, and it does not make a certificate or a course a requirement for any rung.

Frequently asked questions

Can my rate drop in the middle of a year?

No. You can move up at any quarter start, but a move down can only happen at the April recalculation.

Why does the page say I am on no standard rung?

Your programme was set up individually, so no standard ladder applies to it. The page says so rather than showing a rung you are not on.
