Month-end close in one sitting

Reconcile every account, read the statements on one shared period, post the period entries, lock the books — a month that closes clean stays closed.

A month that closes clean stays closed. This is the one-sitting version: reconcile, review, lock.

  1. Reconcile every account

Bank imports match your entries line by line; card statements settle through the card payoff flow without double-counting an expense.
  2. Read the month

Trial balance, P&L, Balance Sheet on the shared period; the green Balanced badge confirms debits equal credits. Skim Exceptions — negative balances and drifting statuses surface themselves.
  3. Post the period entries

Recurring journals fire on their own; depreciation and deferral recognition post as balanced vouchers when you run them.
  4. Lock the books

Owners can lock through the month’s last date — nothing on or before it can change, from any device. The audit trail keeps the history anyway.
