Scheduled report emails

Put any report on autopilot: email Receivables ageing, Payables ageing or Financial ratios as a PDF or CSV on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule — the same numbers you see on screen, delivered to your inbox.

Put a report on autopilot. Pick a report, choose how often it should go — daily, weekly or monthly — and Finocket emails it to the people you name, as a PDF or a CSV, on a schedule. Your CA gets the Monday-morning ageing without anyone remembering to export it.

How do I schedule a report?

Open All reports and tap Schedule by email (top-right), or go straight to Reports → Scheduled reports. Choose the report, the frequency, the format (PDF or CSV) and the recipient email addresses, then save. The schedule shows in the list, and you can pause or delete it any time.

Which reports can I schedule?

The first release covers Receivables ageing, Payables ageing and Financial ratios — the numbers a CA or owner wants in their inbox on a cadence. The emailed file is the exact same data you see on screen; nothing is recomputed differently for email.

When does it send?

A scheduled job runs once a day and sends every schedule whose period has come due — a daily schedule each day, a weekly one once per calendar week, a monthly one once per month. Each period is sent exactly once: if a send fails it retries on the next run, but a period that already went out is never sent twice.

Why does it say “Connect email sending”?

Scheduled reports go out over your workspace’s email sending, through the same consent-checked path as every other message Finocket sends. If no email provider is connected on your deployment yet, the schedule page says so honestly and the job records the run as skipped — it never pretends to send. Set up sending from Profile → Sending and your schedules start delivering.

Who can manage schedules?

Managing schedules follows your Reports permissions: owners and assistants with write access can create, pause and delete them; an invited accountant with read-only access sees the schedules but can’t change them.

Frequently asked questions

Can Finocket email me a report automatically?

Yes — open Reports → Scheduled reports, pick a report, a frequency (daily/weekly/monthly), a format (PDF or CSV) and the recipient emails. Finocket renders and emails it on a schedule; the file matches the on-screen report exactly.

Is a scheduled report ever sent twice for the same period?

No. Each period is sent exactly once — a failed send retries on the next run, but a period that already went out is never re-sent.

What happens if email sending isn't set up?

The schedule page shows an honest 'Connect email sending' state and the job records the run as skipped — it never simulates a send. Set up sending from Profile → Sending and schedules start delivering.

Who can create or pause a schedule?

Anyone with Reports write access (owners and assistants). An invited accountant with read-only access can see the schedules but not change them.
