Dynamic QR codes & scan tracking

Create a branded QR that encodes a short redirect: repoint it after printing with no reprint, read scans by device and day, and let a scan that fills your form land as an attributed lead.

A dynamic QR code is one you print once and control forever. Instead of baking a fixed link into the pattern, Finocket encodes a short redirect — so you can change where the code lands at any time without reprinting a single sticker, and every scan is tracked. Turn on QR & tracking in Modules & features, then open QR & tracking.

Free code, or a trackable one?

If you just need a plain code to drop on a poster, the free QR generator makes a branded PNG or SVG with no sign-up — but it points at a fixed link and can't be tracked or repointed. The dynamic, trackable codes below live inside the app: they count every scan and let you change the destination after printing.

Make a dynamic QR

On QR & tracking, fill in a name (so you remember where it's stuck — “shopfront poster”, “table tent”), the destination link a scan should open, and, optionally, a campaign and a placement so you can tell your codes apart later. Pick your colours and dot style, tap Create code, and download the image to print. The printed code opens a short Finocket link that 302-redirects each scanner on to your destination.

Repoint it — no reprint

Because the printed pattern only ever holds the short redirect, you can send it somewhere new whenever you like. Open the code, tap Repoint, paste the new destination and save — the next scan of the same printed sticker lands on the new link. A festival offer today, a booking page next month, a fresh menu next season: one sticker, changed from your phone.

Read the scan analytics

Each code carries a running scan count. Expand Recent scans & by device to see the total broken down by device (mobile, tablet, desktop) and by day, plus the most recent scans with their timestamps. It's the honest read on which placement and which campaign actually pull.

How a scan becomes a lead

Point a code at one of your hosted forms or landing pages. When someone scans and submits the form, the lead lands in your CRM attributed back to that exact QR code and its campaign — so the scan isn't just a number, it's a named lead you can work into a deal, an invoice and collected cash on one record. The consent block on the form still applies: a lead without consent is stored but kept suppressed.
