The composer writes one email to one customer — a payment reminder, a follow-up, a festival greeting — and sends it only after Finocket has checked that this person may be emailed right now. You can write it yourself or ask the assistant to draft it from what your books already know about that customer.
Where do I find it?
Open Campaigns and tap Compose email, or go straight to Compose. You need the messaging module switched on; AI drafting also needs the assistant module.
Why does it ask what the email is FOR?
Because the purpose decides the rules. A payment reminder is a service message and can go to a customer you already deal with. A festival offer or a first introduction is marketing, and marketing needs the person to have agreed to it. You pick the purpose; Finocket works out which rule applies. You cannot label an offer as a service message to get around the check — and if a “service” email contains promotional wording, it is refused.
Can I write “Hi Ravi” without typing every name?
Yes. Use {{first_name}}, {{business_name}} or {{sender_name}} and Finocket fills each one in per recipient. The preview shows you the finished email, not the placeholders. If a detail is missing for someone — no name on file, say — that person is skipped with a reason rather than sent a half-finished email with braces in it.
What does “Draft with AI” actually do?
It writes a few sentences using figures Finocket has already computed from your books — what that customer owes, their last invoice — and nothing else. Any sentence with a number that does not match your books is thrown away before you ever see it. If nothing survives, you are told so plainly and can write the email yourself. The assistant never invents an amount, a discount or a deadline, and it never sends anything: you read the finished email and tap Confirm.
What if I haven't connected an email provider?
The composer says so at the top and the Send control stays off. Nothing is queued and nothing pretends to have been sent. Connect one on Email & SMS keys, or finish verifying your sending domain on Sending & deliverability. Demo accounts cannot send real email at all — claim your account first.
What happens after I tap Confirm?
Finocket checks consent, the unsubscribe list and your messaging rules at that moment — not when you started writing. If the person opted out while you were drafting, the email is blocked and you are told why. Either way the outcome is recorded in your message log, so a blocked email is a record you can point at, never a silent failure.
Sending to many people
Switch to the Many people tab and the same email becomes a campaign draft. Choose the audience and launch it from Campaigns — every recipient is checked individually as the campaign sends, so someone who unsubscribes half-way through the send is stopped from that point on.
