Leads — capture, score, route and respond on time

Every enquiry — form, QR, booking, WhatsApp, call, email, SMS or voice note — lands on one deduplicated Leads board, gets scored A–D, assigned to a teammate, and started on a first-response timer.

Every enquiry that reaches you — a form fill, a QR scan, a booking, a WhatsApp message, a call (even a missed one), an email, an SMS or a voice note — lands on one Leads board, deduplicated by phone or email. Finocket scores each lead, assigns it to a teammate and starts a first-response timer; leads captured from forms, QR codes and booking pages also open a deal in your pipeline automatically.

How do I work the Leads board?

  1. Open Leads

Every captured lead starts in New. The ladder is New → Working → Nurturing → Qualified, with Unqualified as the polite dead end.
  2. Work the lead, then log the contact

Move its status from the card; open the contact (from the Inbox or Clients) to call, WhatsApp or email — logging that first activity is what stops the response timer.
  3. Convert or close

One tap converts a qualified lead into a client (its deal moves along with it); Unqualified keeps your board honest without deleting history.

How does lead scoring work?

Each lead carries a score (0 and up — the default rules top out around 100) and a grade: A at 75 or more, B from 50, C from 25 and D below that. Out of the box, points come from having an email (+10), a phone (+10) or a GSTIN (+15), filling a form (+15), scanning a QR (+10), opening (+5) or clicking (+15) an email, viewing three or more pages (+10), and arriving through a partner referral (+20). Edit any rule — facts, thresholds and points — in the scoring editor.

How are leads assigned to my team?

Routing rules pick an owner for every new lead: rotate turns evenly across your team (round-robin and load-balanced both rotate today), or pin a source or campaign to a specific person. The assignee shows on the lead and on its deal.

What is the first-response timer?

Speed wins deals. Set a first-response window (15 minutes by default) and every new lead gets a due time; logging the first call, message, email or meeting stops the clock. A lead that passes its due time without contact is flagged as breached and escalated — a contacted lead can never breach.

Where do my leads come from?

Every lead remembers its source — form, landing page, QR code, booking page, partner referral, ad click or UTM campaign. The Leads by source report groups leads by where they came from and shows how many convert; the Funnel report follows them through your pipeline stages.

Frequently asked questions

Which channels can capture a lead automatically?

Hosted forms, landing pages, QR scans, booking pages, WhatsApp messages (including voice notes), calls and missed calls, inbound email, inbound SMS, and a voice note you record yourself. Every channel dedupes by phone or email, so a returning contact never becomes a second lead.

How is the lead grade calculated?

Points from facts and behaviour add up (the defaults top out around 100): A at 75+, B at 50+, C at 25+, D below. Defaults reward a reachable contact (email, phone, GSTIN), engagement (form fill, QR scan, email open or click, three page views) and partner referrals — and every rule is editable in CRM settings.

What happens if nobody responds to a lead in time?

Each new lead gets a due time from your first-response window (15 minutes by default). Logging the first call, message, email or meeting stops the clock; if the due time passes without contact, the lead is flagged as breached and escalated so it can't slip silently.

Can leads be assigned to a specific salesperson?

Yes — routing rules rotate turns evenly across the team (round-robin and load-balanced both rotate today), or pin a source or campaign to one person.
