Finocket runs a retail business on the same books your accountant reads: shops, stock, a till, offers, loyalty, couriers. This page is a map — each piece has its own guide, and the order below is the order a shop actually sets things up in.
Start here, in this order
- Your products — with a SKU or barcode on each. Everything downstream keys off it: the till scans it, labels print it, and a season groups it.
- Your shops — each with its own code and bill numbering. A chain that skips this cannot answer “which shop sold more” later, and bills already raised cannot be reassigned.
- Opening stock — then count the floor whenever you want; the count becomes the truth.
- The till — cash, card, UPI, split across several, and a keyboard that does the work on a counter PC.
Then, when you want them
- Offers — a discount rule the till applies by itself.
- Loyalty and gift vouchers — points that earn, expire and can be spent at the counter.
- Couriers — book a parcel against a bill on your own carrier account.
- Retail intelligence — stock health, what your customers are worth, and whether your shops are ready for another one.
The three that cost the most to get wrong
Moving stock between states is a taxable supply. Sending goods from your Bengaluru warehouse to your Chennai shop is a supply under GST even though nothing was sold — it needs a tax invoice with IGST. Finocket tells you before the transfer is saved, and says plainly that raising that invoice is still yours to do.
Decide what a loyalty point is worth before you give any away. Points build up from the day you switch a programme on, and what they cost you is set separately. Left at zero they cannot be spent, which is the safe place to leave it until you have decided.
Taking your data
Every record, as CSV, whenever you want it, at no charge and with nothing to ask for — see taking your data. It is worth knowing before you start, not after.
What it costs
Every plan includes one shop. Each shop after that is ₹5,000 a month, or ₹50,000 a year paid upfront, plus GST. There is no charge per till and no charge per person, so a shop can have as many staff as it needs. Add a shop from Settings → Plan & billing; it stays yours for as long as you pay for it, and a workspace that reaches its shop count is told the price at the moment it tries to add one, not after.
