Take a payment on a form

Pending: form payments are built but not switched on yet. How it will work: the payment goes to your own Razorpay account, and a response turns paid only after Finocket checks the payment with Razorpay.

Not available yet. The payment routes are on qa (lane forms-b02, row F-B02) but switched off (FORMS_PAYMENT), and the form's submit step and the form page do not start a payment yet. It has not been tried with a real Razorpay payment. Nothing below can be used today.

Whose Razorpay account is used?

Yours. You connect your own Razorpay keys and the money goes straight to your account. Card details never touch Finocket.

When does a response turn paid?

Only after Finocket asks Razorpay for the payment on your account and finds it captured, on our order, in rupees, for the right amount. A payment that is only authorized shows as processing and books nothing.

What if the payment fails?

Each submission gets one Razorpay order, so a failed attempt needs a fresh submission.

Does the payment reach my books?

A captured payment is booked as a receipt when the response is linked to a client. With no client the response is still marked paid and no receipt is booked.
