Company signals - hiring, funding and news on each company (beta)

Data providers watch your companies on a schedule you choose. See each provider's spend against its cap, pause one, and read its health. Beta: your administrator turns a provider on first.

Company signals is a beta feature. Data providers watch the companies you care about, on a schedule you choose, and what they find lands on each company's timeline: hiring, funding, leadership changes and news. Finocket keeps where each signal came from and the lawful basis it is held on, and it never collects from LinkedIn's pages.

What you need first

Your Finocket administrator turns a provider on for your workspace and sets its monthly spend cap. Until that is done a provider reads Not enabled for your workspace yet and nothing runs. The screen is under Integrations → Company signals, and it appears there only when the module is on for you.

Choose how often a provider runs

For each enabled provider pick Never, Daily or Weekly. You can slow a provider down or switch it off. You cannot raise what it may spend: the cap belongs to your administrator. Pause stops the next run for that one provider in your workspace and the screen says it is paused; Resume lets it run again.

Spend and the cap

Every call costs credits, and the screen shows how many were used this calendar month against the cap. Before each call Finocket checks that it would still fit. When the cap would be passed, that provider is paused for your workspace, with the reason shown, and nothing more is spent. Other providers and other workspaces are not affected.

Reading a provider's health

  • Healthy: recent runs succeeded and spend is inside the cap.
  • Needs a look: spend is at 80% of the cap, some calls are failing, or the last good run is older than it should be.
  • Needs attention now: the provider refused our credential, the cap or its own limit was reached, or most calls fail.
  • Could not be checked and Not measured yet mean what they say. They are not the same as healthy, and an empty list of signals is not the same as a provider that could not be reached.

A provider outside India

Finocket's data stays in India. A provider that calls a service outside India runs only after your workspace has opted in, and the screen says so. Only company domains and names are sent.

What this does not do

Signals never send anything. A message to a company still goes through your consent checks like any other. A failed call is retried with a growing delay and, after three tries, set aside with its reason rather than dropped.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my provider say it is not enabled?

Your Finocket administrator turns a provider on for your workspace and sets its monthly spend cap. Until then nothing runs and nothing is spent.

Can I raise the spend cap?

No. You can slow a provider down, switch it off or pause it, but the cap belongs to your administrator because it governs platform spend.

Does this scrape LinkedIn?

No. Signals come from licensed or public sources, every one keeps its source and lawful basis, and a LinkedIn source is refused unless it came through a licensed API.
