What works when the signal doesn't — and what doesn't
None of the 41 areas in Finocket is claimed to work without a connection yet. Rather than leave you to find that out on a train, here is the whole list, kept honest by the same file the app itself reads.
Works with no signal
Nothing appears here on a promise. An area is listed only after somebody has used it on a real device with the radio off, and the date and the device they proved it on are printed beside it.
Nothing yet. The machinery is being built and some of it already runs, but not one area has been signed off with the radio actually off — so this page claims none of them. It will fill in as each is proven, and no sooner.
Needs a connection — and why
The honest half, and the reason in every case. Some of these wait on work we have not finished; others go through a government portal, a bank, a provider or another person, and no amount of engineering on our side moves them onto your phone.

Mysty runs on our servers, so you need a connection to ask anything.

An approval is another person's decision, so your approvals need a connection.

Your bank reconciliation reads a live feed from your bank, so it needs a connection.

These run on somebody else's device — a visitor's browser, or your own systems calling us. They keep working while your phone has no signal at all, because your phone was never what ran them.

What already happens when the signal drops
The machinery under the list above is not nothing — it just has not been signed off area by area, so the list above does not spend it.
It is held, then sent
Install Finocket to your home screen and it keeps a queue on the phone itself. Something you add while the connection is gone waits there and goes up the moment you are back, without you remembering to do anything.
In an order that survives
The queue sends in dependency order, so a thing you saved never lands before the thing it belongs to — the failure that turns a good reconnection into a bad afternoon.
Refused now, not later
A save our server turns down outright — a permission you do not have, a duplicate — comes straight back to you. It is never parked in the queue as though it will go through later, so you are never told “saved” for something that will never arrive.
What that does not yet do is let you open the app with no connection and read back what is already there. That is the work in progress, and it is why the first list on this page says what it says. An area moves up only once somebody has used it end to end on a real phone with the radio off, and the date and device they did it on get printed beside it.
