For salaried & individuals — net worth, investments, tax working
Not every user runs a business. Tell Finocket you're salaried or an individual and the whole app reshapes — no invoices or clients, just your money: income in, investments growing, and a clear read on the tax working behind it. The tax screens are deliberately built to refuse rather than guess: they show you the arithmetic and name the gaps, and they never tell you what to elect or which form to file.

Actual app — a real screenshot on sample data, not a mock-up.
Income tracking
Log salary, bank/FD interest, rent, dividends and capital gains, with the TDS deducted so you can reconcile against Form 26AS.
Investments in one place
ELSS, NPS, PF/PPF, fixed & recurring deposits, gold, mutual funds, stocks, bonds and LIC — flag what's 80C-eligible and watch your total grow.
Net worth & savings rate
A live net-worth figure across everything you hold, plus your this-year income vs expenses and savings rate at a glance.
80C / 80D planning
A progress bar toward the ₹1.5 lakh 80C limit and 80D health-insurance tracking, so you know what's left to invest before year-end.
Old vs new regime, with no verdict
Both regimes worked out side by side on the figures you entered, showing which is cheaper ON THOSE FIGURES and by how much. It deliberately does not recommend a regime — there is no 'recommended' anywhere in the result, because which regime to elect is your decision with your CA. It refuses any assessment year whose rates a human hasn't verified against the statute, so an unverified year reads as refused rather than computed, and capital gains aren't modelled.
Your tax answers stay yours
The rent, health-insurance premiums and home-loan answers behind the tax plan live in a table only you can read — every policy is scoped to your own login, with no team-sharing path at all, so a workspace member cannot see them. Questions you didn't answer stay unanswered in the database rather than being defaulted to 'no' on your behalf, and nothing computed is stored — the working is derived fresh every time you open it.
An ITR working sheet, organised by head of income
Assemble the working your return is built from — salary, house property, other sources, deductions — where every figure carries the row it came from, enforced by the type system rather than by review. It will not name a return form, and no code path in it can: the eligibility tests turn on directorship, unlisted equity, foreign assets and brought-forward losses that Finocket simply doesn't hold, and a wrong form is a defective return. Unanswerable conditions render as visible blanks, 'nil from your books' stays distinct from 'not modelled', and exports are PDF or CSV only, watermarked NOT A RETURN. There's no AI narration on it at all, on purpose. Finocket does not file.
