Your books, in your pocket. Between meetings.
Coaches, advisors, agents, real-estate consultants, lawyers, designers and solo practitioners with a lot of movement and not enough time. Finocket is the daily-driver ledger β with estimates, deposits, a client portal, a CRM and retainers built in.
You already know the pain.
You bill differently for every client.
Some pay a monthly retainer. Some pay per site visit. Some pay in USD from a Dubai client. Some pay βΉ90,000 because they withheld βΉ10,000 as TDS. Excel dies at this.
You never sit down to book entries.
Vouchers pile up in your camera roll and WhatsApp until quarter-end. Your CA sighs.
You do actually need GST + TDS to work.
You raise tax invoices. You reconcile against Form 26AS. Tally is overkill; a spreadsheet is under-kill.
What Finocket does for you.
Estimates & deposits
Send an EST-numbered quote with a hosted accept page β your client accepts with a typed name recorded with a timestamp, you convert to an invoice in one tap, and a deposit or milestone schedule collects before you start.
A portal your client pays from
One branded link shows their balance, open invoices with pay actions, estimates to accept and a statement download. Every reminder email carries it β you stop forwarding PDFs.
A next action on every deal
Each deal carries what you'll do next and when β red when overdue, gathered into Today's follow-ups β so proposals stop dying of silence.
Voice-first entries β and voice-first invoices
Tap the mic, dictate a site-visit note in Hindi / Tamil / Telugu / Kannada / English. Whisper transcribes; search finds it later. Speak an invoice the same way and it comes back as a filled-in draft you read before it saves β a line it couldn't make out is dropped and flagged rather than guessed, and a client it can't place hands you the add-client form instead of picking someone who sounds similar. Tamil, Telugu and Kannada transcription is still rough and the screen says so, so read it back before you send.
Setup as a conversation, with a real undo
Answer a few questions about how you work and Finocket proposes the shape of your workspace. Nothing changes until you tap Apply β walk away mid-conversation and your books are byte-identical. Every proposal is labelled as something you said, something inferred, or a default, with the evidence beside it, and anything inferred starts unticked and is left out unless you tick it. Your GST scheme is refused outright as an inference: a legal election stays a human choice.
Recurring retainers
Set a monthly / quarterly retainer once β it posts on schedule via a server-side cron even if you never open the app.
TDS 194J built in
Client withheld tax at source? Turn on the switch, pick section 194J, Finocket suggests 10%. Invoice stays fully paid; TDS shows in the year-end summary for Form 26AS reconciliation.
Multi-currency + FX snapshot
16 currencies including USD, AED, GBP, EUR, SGD, AUD. Every invoice locks the FX rate at issue date so old totals never drift.
WhatsApp share
Every INR PDF has a UPI QR. Share to WhatsApp; client scans and pays from their phone. Overdue reminders take one tap.
Read-only CA access
Invite your CA once. They see everything they need to file β nothing they can accidentally change.
The bar we hold ourselves to
I record every payment as I get it now. Quarter-end has stopped being a Sunday.
