An over-receipt is not blocked at the gate: it posts and then stands out as an exception someone has to answer.
Split a line across branch, project and fund
One invoice or journal line distributed by percentage across several dimensions at once, each axis footing to exactly 100% on its own, with a P&L per dimension to read off it. It is a reporting layer, and the splits never change what posts to your ledger.
Branch P&L & bank matching
Tag transactions to a cost centre for a per-branch P&L, and reconcile a bank statement CSV against your recorded payments, or photograph a printed statement and have it read into lines, stamped as scanned so it can never pass for a live feed. There is no live bank connection; the import is the path.
