Partners & commissions · Beta
Run a partner program your CA can actually pay out
Give partners and affiliates a self-serve portal, track every referral by link or coupon code, and accrue commission only on money you actually collected — then hand your accountant a clean monthly statement with each partner's tax details and documents, GST and TDS worked out. Finocket never moves money; it gets the numbers right.
Single-tier programs
Set a rate in basis points, a cookie window and a hold period. Invite a partner by email and their portal links automatically the moment they sign up — they see their referral link, per-currency balances and what they're owed, and only their own rows.
First-referral attribution
Referral links attribute leads to partners on a first-referral-wins basis — later touches never overwrite the first — with a configurable cookie window; the attribution flows through to the ledger.
Coupon codes — cookie-proof attribution
Mint per-partner coupon codes with usage caps and expiry. Enter a client's code on their invoice and the referral attributes to that partner — no cookie, no click required, so WhatsApp and word-of-mouth referrals count too. First referral still wins.
Double-sided rewards
Set a referee discount on the program and it's applied automatically to the referred client's first invoice when their coupon is redeemed — the partner earns, the new client saves, and the discount is a visible line on the invoice.
Share kit
Write WhatsApp-ready messages and links once; partners copy them from their portal with their referral link already appended — no mangled links, no off-brand pitches.
Milestones & tiered rates
Set conversion or revenue thresholds that post a one-time cash bonus to the ledger when crossed — and, if you want, step the partner up to a higher commission rate that applies automatically from then on.
A referral timeline partners can trust
Each referral shows its partner a step-by-step status — captured, lead, first invoice, payment collected, commission accrued, on hold until a date, released, paid — so 'where's my commission?' answers itself.
Append-only commission ledger
Commission accrues on collected revenue with holds and clawbacks — an immutable, idempotent ledger where corrections are new rows, never edits. Integer money maths, property-tested.
Self-referral review queue
When a referral's email or phone matches the partner's own, the accrual is still recorded — but flagged and held out of payable until you approve or reject it in a review queue. Honest books, no silent blocking.
Monthly CA statements + docs on file
Build a per-partner statement as Excel or CSV with tax details on file (PAN) or a clear MISSING flag, plus GST and India TDS-194H. Partners upload their PAN from the portal into a private vault, and statements show a docs-on-file chip per partner. Statements can be built and emailed on a monthly schedule, claimed atomically so one can never go out twice, and the log records the honest outcome per partner — sent, blocked, or skipped with the reason.
Referral, reseller or CA — one ledger, not three
A reseller or an accountant partner is a KIND of partner on the same spine, not a second system: a signup bounty compiles onto the shipped volume-tier rule and Y1/Y2/Y3 recurring rates onto the shipped time-tier rule, so every kind accrues into the same append-only ledger. It's single-tier only — there is no downline or multi-level structure — and a claimed signup is first-wins, so a replayed claim can't create a second attribution.
A partner cockpit — earned, held, maturing
Partners see their balance, their pipeline, what's on hold and the date each accrual matures, plus a monthly earnings series and attention cards they can dismiss. Commission accrues on what was actually COLLECTED, net of any discount the partner gave — so a partner's own coupon lowers their own commission — and churn before maturity claws it back automatically. Statements are visible only once finalised. Churn risk is a plain rule over the ledger, not a model. And there is no payout execution anywhere in it: settlement is a bank transfer someone makes outside Finocket and records here.
