Online store, pre-launch
Your own online store, run from your books
A shop on your own address, managed from the same account as your items and invoices. Plainly: this is pre-launch. The screens are built and you can open them, but no shop has taken an order through them yet and no payment has gone through one, so we would rather say that than imply a track record.
Set up the shop yourself
The shop console has a tab each for the look, your pages, your policies, your domain, payments, prices, cash on delivery and products. You choose a theme and adjust it, write the pages and the policy pages a shop needs, and publish when you are ready. Your existing items are the catalogue, so there is no second product list to keep in step.
Your own address
Add the domain you own, copy the DNS record the console shows you and press verify. The console reports exactly what it found, including when it could not tell. One thing is not automatic yet: the HTTPS certificate for your own domain is not issued for you today, so a custom domain is not something to promise your customers until that is settled.
A cart and a checkout
Shoppers get a basket and a checkout on your shop's own address. Where card payment through a payment provider is connected, the shopper pays on the provider's own page, so card details are never typed on ours.
Payments you can see
Cash on delivery has its own settings tab. Direct UPI publishes your handle and then waits for you: because a plain UPI handle sends us no notification, each payment stays unconfirmed until you confirm it on the Payments tab. Finocket is not in that money path, and nothing confirms it for you.
An add-on above Growth, with no cut of your sales
The online store is an add-on on top of a Growth plan or higher. It includes one storefront, and each extra storefront is metered separately. There is no per-order fee and no share of what you sell. The prices are not published yet, and we would rather leave them out than quote a number nobody has decided, so ask us and we will tell you where it stands. Managed setup, where we run the shop with you, is by conversation only for now: talk to us, and we will say plainly what we can and cannot promise.
