TDS calculator
Pick what you are paying for, enter the amount and what you have already paid that person this tax year. The calculator applies the threshold and the rate for tax year 2026-27, raises the rate if the payee has no PAN, and shows how much TDS to deduct and how much to pay them.
TDS starts once fees to this person cross ₹50,000 in the year.
Tax year 2026-27. Indicative: special cases (lower-deduction certificates, non-residents, Form 15G/15H) are not covered.
How to use it
- 1Pick the payment. Professional fees, a contractor, rent, commission, interest or a purchase of goods.
- 2Enter the amount. This payment, and what you have already paid the same person this tax year. Rent is tested per month.
- 3Check the PAN box. Without the payee's PAN the higher no-PAN rate applies: 20%, or 5% for purchase of goods.
- 4Read the result. The section, the 2025 Act reference and payment code, the rate, the TDS to deduct and the net payment.

- TDS suggested on each vendor payment, threshold included
- Deducted-vs-deposited tracking per quarter, with challans
- A quarterly TDS statement workbook and certificate working copies for your CA
