Income tracking
Log every income source and reconcile against Form 26AS
Salary, interest, rent, dividends and capital gains — logged with the TDS deducted, so year-end tax is accurate, not guessed.
What it solves
Income arrives from more places than a payslip — bank and FD interest, rent, dividends, capital gains — and each may have had TDS deducted. Log them as they happen and your taxable-income picture is complete when you file, instead of chasing figures across accounts in July.
How we're different
Finocket captures the TDS deducted on each income line, so the totals reconcile against your Form 26AS — the thing your return actually has to agree with — rather than leaving you to match numbers by hand.

Questions
Can I track TDS on my income?
Yes — record the TDS deducted on each income line (salary, interest, rent, dividends), and the totals reconcile against your Form 26AS at filing time.
Does Finocket compare the old and new tax regime?
It works both out side by side from your logged income, 80C and 80D, and states which is cheaper on those exact figures and by how much — along with what's still missing from your inputs. It deliberately stops there: there is no recommendation, because electing a regime is your decision with your CA. An assessment year whose rates a human hasn't verified against the statute is refused rather than estimated.
Learn how it works
Personal finance — income, investments & 80C
Track salary, freelance and other income with TDS, log every investment, and watch your 80C progress toward the ₹1.5 lakh limit — kept as yours, not any one company's.
Your income-tax plan — old regime versus new
One assessment year worked out twice, from your own income and investment rows plus the things Finocket cannot see. It marks which regime costs less on those figures, recommends neither, and refuses outright to compute a year whose rates have not been checked against the Finance Act.

The ITR working sheet for your CA
For a year that has finished: your own income re-cut into the heads of income the Income-tax Act uses, with the record behind every figure, a check that every rupee is accounted for, and a PDF or spreadsheet to hand over. It names no return form — deliberately.
