Frequently asked questions
- Does a production run create a batch with expiry?
- Not yet. You can record a batch or lot number on each invoice line. Only where the manufacturing v3 setting is switched on (off by default), a production run can also carry a batch number and an optional expiry or best-before date; it does not create manufacturing dates.
- Is Finocket a GMP or eBMR system?
- No. Finocket keeps costing, production, stock and books. Your GMP, batch manufacturing records and quality release stay in the system you use for them today.
- Can it handle a recall?
- No. There is no automatic forward and backward trace and no recall report or filing. Where the manufacturing v3 setting is switched on you can type which raw lots went into a run and look up a batch to list the invoices that carried it; that is a working record, not a recall system.
- Does it handle payroll for factory and contract staff?
- No. HR, attendance, wages and payroll are handled by ashr.work, a separate product. Finocket keeps the books.
- Which plan has the manufacturing module?
- Manufacturing starts on the Growth plan. Solo and Starter do not include it.
- Are these prices final?
- No. They are draft figures from Finocket's current plan list, before GST, and are waiting on an owner decision. The page will change if the prices change.
