Use cases
How a working day runs, step by step.
Bill the union for a shift's dispatch
The secretary bills the plant for the morning tanker, with milk type, shift, fat and SNF on each line. Nothing works out the rate from fat and SNF yet; you type it.
- Add Milk type, Shift, Fat and SNF as bill-line fields once, with Show on PDF on
- Choose the wholesale bill layout and set up its recommended fields
- Pick the union or plant and add a line for cow and a line for buffalo milk
- Type fat, SNF and the rate for each line
- Note the tanker's vehicle number and share the PDF

- See who still owes you in the outstanding list
- Send a reminder on WhatsApp from your phone, one bill at a time
Sell over the parlour counter

- Print the receipt

Keep feed given on credit on the member's account
Cattle feed bags given on credit go on the member's ledger, so they are not forgotten at payment time. Deducting feed from the milk bill is not built yet.
- Add the member as a party
- Raise a bill for the feed bags
- Open the member's ledger to see what is owed
- Record the payment when the member pays
- Download the member's statement as a PDF
Buy feed and keep its stock
Feed and packing material bought from suppliers adds to stock, and sales draw it down.
- Record the supplier's bill with the feed as stock lines
- Stock goes up as the bill is saved
- Sell feed or products on a bill and stock goes down
- Check the stock ledger and the low-stock list
Set a price list for milk products
A centre that sells curd, ghee and paneer to shops keeps one set of rates for them.
- Create a price list for shops
- Set the rate for each product
- Attach the list to each shop's party record
- Bills to that shop pick up the list's rate
Match the bank passbook
The union's payments and your deposits are matched to the bank statement instead of ticked off by hand.
- Import the bank statement as Excel or CSV
- Review the suggested match for each line
- Confirm the match, or pick the right bill or payment
- Save a rule for entries that repeat
