- Does Finocket fetch today's gold rate?
- No. You type the rate each morning and it is kept with its date. If the rate is old, you are told before you bill on it.
- Can I print HUID on the bill?
- Yes. The jewellery template prints purity and the HUID you enter on each line. Linking a HUID to a specific piece in stock is not built yet.
- How is GST worked out on gold and making?
- Each item carries its own HSN and GST rate, and making and hallmarking are charge presets you can edit. Whether making is taxed separately depends on how you bill it, so confirm the setup with your CA.
- Can I take old gold in exchange?
- Yes. You record its weight and purity, value it at the day's rate and set it against the new bill. It is posted to your books as one entry.
- Do you handle girvi or gold loans?
- No. Finocket does not do lending.
- Can I run a gold savings scheme?
- No. Finocket can record digital gold balances for your books, but it does not take instalments or run a scheme.
- Can I pay my karigars' salaries here?
- A karigar paid per job is a vendor and is settled through job orders. Salaries, payroll and attendance for employed staff are in ashr.work.
- Are these prices final?
- No. The prices shown are drafts and may change before launch.
