Questions about Finocket for travel agencies
- Is Finocket a booking engine?
No. Finocket does not sell flights, hotels or packages and does not connect to a GDS. It runs the money side: enquiries, quotes, invoices, payments, supplier bills and books.
- Can one invoice carry a tour package and a service fee?
Yes. Each line is marked with its service type, and you set the GST rate and SAC on each line with your CA. Finocket does not preset either.
- Does Finocket calculate TCS on overseas packages?
You record the TCS collected on the customer's payment, where your CA reads it. The TCS fields on a receipt appear only for companies marked as TCS collectors in TDS settings. Picking an overseas-package TCS section pre-fills a suggested starting amount from a rate in the product that has no dated source, and a different rate has been reported for the current year, so overwrite it with the rate your CA gives you. This page states no rate.
- Can I see profit per trip?
Not yet. Supplier bills carry the booking reference, but a trip-wise profit and loss report is not built.
- Does it handle HR and payroll?
No. Staff HR and payroll belong to ashr.work.
