Manufacturing
Turn raw materials into finished stock, valued automatically
Define a bill of materials per finished product, route it through named work centers, run it as a work order with step-by-step work-in-progress tracking, and record production runs that consume raw materials and add finished goods at a rolled-up cost with labour.
What it solves
If you make what you sell, the hard part is knowing what a finished unit actually costs and keeping raw-material and finished-goods stock in step. Finocket lets you define a bill of materials once, then record a production run: it draws down the components and adds the finished goods to stock automatically, at a rolled-up standard cost — so your make step keeps your inventory and its value honest.
How we're different
Manufacturing rides on the same self-valuing stock ledger as everything else — a production run is a matched movement (components Consumed, finished goods Manufactured) you can see line by line, so the finished-goods value that lands on your balance sheet is derived from real component costs, not typed in by hand.

Work-centre capacity, honestly scoped
Give each work centre a minutes-per-day capacity and read the coming week's load per centre from your open work orders, with over-capacity days flagged and the earliest day that fits suggested. It's a planning aid, not a finite-capacity scheduler. Multi-level MRP netting — demand and on-hand stock in, net make-or-buy planned orders out — runs over the REST API and MCP rather than as an in-app planning screen; there is no master production schedule and no shop-floor terminal.

Questions
How does a production run work?
Define a bill of materials for the finished product, then record a run — Finocket consumes the listed raw materials and adds the finished goods to stock automatically, each as a matched Manufactured / Consumed movement.
How is the finished product costed?
From a rolled-up standard cost built off its bill of materials, so the finished-goods value on your balance sheet is derived from real component costs rather than typed in.
Does it have work centers and routing?
Yes — route a bill of materials through named work centers with step-level consume and produce, and each step's labour (minutes × its hourly rate) rolls into the finished-goods value. Legacy BoMs with no routing run exactly as before.
Can I run work orders and see work-in-progress?
Yes. A routed bill of materials can run as a work order — draft, in progress, complete or cancel — and you tick off each step as it's finished. Each completed step accrues its material and labour into an append-only work-in-progress ledger, so an open order shows a real Work-in-Progress figure on your balance sheet and releases to exactly zero when the order completes or is cancelled. Completing the order records the production run and moves the stock.
Is there capacity planning?
There's a planning aid, not a scheduler. Give each work centre a capacity in minutes per day and Finocket charts the coming week's load per centre from your open work orders, flags the days over capacity and suggests the earliest day a job would fit. Multi-level MRP netting is available too — post a demand list to the REST API or ask over MCP and you get net make-or-buy planned orders across the whole BoM tree — but it has no in-app planning screen yet, and there is no master production schedule and no shop-floor terminal.
Learn how it works
Manufacturing & bill of materials
Define a bill of materials per finished product and record production runs — Finocket consumes the raw-material stock and adds the finished goods at their rolled-up cost, optionally routed through named work centers for step-level costing.
Document templates and the look of your invoices
Choose one of thirteen templates from a live preview — bill of material, retail bill, services, jewellery, pharmacy, works contract, export, quotation and more — then tune colours, columns, words, a cover page and a signature. Terms and notes are rich text.
Clients, projects and invoices
Add clients with GSTIN + state auto-fill. Send invoices — tax invoice, bill of supply, export invoice, receipt or credit note — start from an estimate, or split an invoice into a deposit + milestone schedule.
