Challenges

The manual work this trade still runs on, what it costs, and what changes.

  1. Fees collected at the desk never quite match the day's register

    How it is done today
A handwritten receipt book or a printed slip, with cash in a drawer and UPI checked on the owner's phone in the evening
    Cost or risk
Unexplained gaps between cash, UPI and visits, and no receipt trail when a patient asks for one later
    With Finocket
Reception records each fee by cash, UPI or card and shares a receipt on WhatsApp, so the day's collections add up by tender
  2. The owner has to share their own login, or do the billing themselves

    How it is done today
Reception uses the doctor's account, or bills in a notebook that the owner types up later
    Cost or risk
Anyone at the desk can change prices or delete entries, and the owner spends evenings on data entry
    With Finocket
Reception gets a cashier role to bill at the counter; the owner keeps settings, prices and the team
  3. TDS deducted by hospitals and TPAs is lost track of

    How it is done today
Net receipts are entered as if they were the full fee, and the CA reconstructs TDS from your annual tax statement at year end
    Cost or risk
Credits are missed or mismatched against your annual tax statement, and income is understated in the books
    With Finocket
Record the TDS a hospital, corporate or TPA deducted on each receipt and read it against your annual tax statement
  4. TPA bills sit unpaid with no one chasing them

    How it is done today
A spreadsheet or a file of claim copies, checked when cash runs short
    Cost or risk
Short payments and delays are written off silently
    With Finocket
Outstanding amounts by payer show who owes what and for how long; short-payment reasons are not built yet
  5. Supplier, lab and AMC bills pile up in a drawer

    How it is done today
Paper bills handed to the CA in a bag at quarter end
    Cost or risk
Missing or duplicate expenses and lost input-tax evidence on taxable purchases
    With Finocket
Photograph a bill and it becomes an expense, with a warning when the same bill is added twice
  6. Rent, equipment AMC and fixed salaries are re-entered every month

    How it is done today
Manual journal entries, or none until the CA asks
    Cost or risk
Months with missing costs and a profit figure nobody trusts
    With Finocket
Post rent, AMC and the salary entry as recurring rules; payroll itself stays in ashr.work
  7. Packages are quoted differently by different people

    How it is done today
Reception remembers the terms, or writes them on the receipt by hand
    Cost or risk
Disputes over how many sessions were promised and for how long
    With Finocket
Write the session count and validity on the package item so every quote is the same; draw-down is not built yet
  8. Filing time means a week of back-and-forth with the CA

    How it is done today
Photos and spreadsheets sent over WhatsApp, then questions on each one
    Cost or risk
Late filings and a CA bill for work that is mostly data cleanup
    With Finocket
Invite the CA read-only and hand over one bundle generated from your own books
