Bank reconciliation
Tick your bank statement against your books in minutes
Import a statement from 11 auto-detected Indian bank formats — or photograph a PDF one — match it with rules you save once, and keep credit cards and post-dated cheques as first-class accounts.
What it solves
The gap between what your bank shows and what your books show is where errors hide — a payment recorded twice, an expense never entered, a settlement you forgot. Finocket closes it: import the statement and match each bank line to the payment or expense it belongs to, so you can prove the two agree instead of hoping they do. And when the bank only gives you a PDF, you don't fall back to typing — photograph or upload it and the lines are read out for you.
How we're different
Reconciliation reads from the same double-entry ledger your invoices and expenses already post to, so matching a bank line isn't data-entry into a separate silo — it's confirming the money you already recorded, and anything left unmatched is exactly the entry you missed. A scanned statement is stamped as scanned, kept deliberately distinct from a live bank feed, so a photograph can never masquerade as a connected account.

Honest about live feeds
Reconciliation runs on statement, CSV or scanned import today. Automatic bank feeds arrive when you connect an Account Aggregator — we say 'import & reconcile', not 'auto-sync', and the product distinguishes a scanned statement from a fed one in the data itself.

Questions
How do I get my statement in?
Upload it and Finocket auto-detects the layout across 11 Indian bank formats (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, PNB, BOB, Canara, IDFC, IndusInd, Yes, plus a generic fallback) — no column mapping. If your bank only gives you a PDF, upload or photograph that instead and the lines are read out for you.
Can Finocket read a scanned or PDF bank statement?
Yes. The lines come out in whole paise, only the last four digits of the account are kept, and a running-balance checksum flags any line the arithmetic doesn't support. It gives you statement LINES, not matches — matching stays suggest-only, the import is recorded as an auditable action you can undo in one tap, and the statement is stamped as scanned so it can never be mistaken for a live bank feed.
What does matching tell me?
Each bank line ties to the payment or expense it belongs to; anything left unmatched is the entry you still need to record, so every rupee ends up accounted for.
Do you connect to my bank automatically?
Not today. Reconciliation runs on statement, CSV or scanned import; automatic feeds arrive when you connect an Account Aggregator. We say 'import & reconcile' rather than 'auto-sync' on purpose.
Learn how it works

Import a bank statement CSV and match each line to a recorded payment or expense, so your books agree with your bank and nothing goes unrecorded.
Document templates and the look of your invoices
Choose one of thirteen templates from a live preview — bill of material, retail bill, services, jewellery, pharmacy, works contract, export, quotation and more — then tune colours, columns, words, a cover page and a signature. Terms and notes are rich text.
