What it solves
A customer asks 'what do you sell, and how much?' and you're screenshotting a price list or forwarding a PDF that's already out of date. A hosted items catalog gives you one clean link — a list with a photo and detail view for every item — that you pick from your own item master, so it's always current and always on-brand, with no website to build.
How we're different
It's a deliberate showcase, not a shop: there is no cart, no checkout and no search box, because selling online is the marketplace hub's job (Amazon/Flipkart/quick-commerce, reconciled as finance). The catalog draws straight from the items you already keep for invoicing, shows only the fields you choose to make public, and honours a per-catalog 'show prices' switch — so quote-based pricing stays private while the list stays shareable.

Questions
Is this an online store?
No — it's a showcase, not a storefront. There is deliberately no cart, no checkout and no search box. It's a clean, read-only way to share your product or service list on one link. Selling online is the marketplace hub's job.
Can I hide prices?
Yes. Each catalog has a 'show prices' switch — turn it off and every item reads 'Price on request' instead of a rate.
What do customers see?
Only the showcase fields — item name, description, photo, unit and (if you allow it) the price. Cost, SKU, tax settings and other private details are never sent to the public page, and an unpublished catalog stays private.
