Frequently asked questions
- Can I bill loose sugar or dal by weight?
- Not at the till yet. The till sells whole units, and there is no weighing-scale connection. Many shops create 500 g and 1 kg items for loose goods until this is built.
- Does it work when the internet goes off?
- Yes. You can keep billing in cash, card or UPI offline, and the bills sync when the connection is back.
- Can I keep a khata for regular customers?
- You can raise a bill on credit from the invoice screen, see everyone who owes you on the Outstanding page, and send a WhatsApp reminder with a pay link. Recording a credit sale straight from the till is not available yet.
- Which printer do I need?
- Any printer your browser can print to, including 58 mm and 80 mm thermal printers. One-tap printing without the browser dialog is not built yet.
- Will my CA be able to see the books?
- From Starter you can invite your CA into the workspace. Every plan keeps double-entry books and can export to Tally.
- Do you handle staff salaries?
- No. HR, attendance and payroll are in ashr.work, a separate product.
- Are these prices final?
- No. They are draft prices and may change before launch.
