Finocket for Kirana & Grocery

Bill quickly at the counter, and know what is on your shelf

Scan packets to bill with a USB or Bluetooth scanner, keep MRP and brand on every item, take cash, card or UPI even when the internet drops, and send a WhatsApp reminder with a pay link to customers who owe you.

The problems we fix first

  1. Billing a queue by hand

Today: Prices are remembered or read off packets and added on a calculator or in a notebook.

With Finocket: Scan the barcode and the item, price and GST land on the bill; cash, card and UPI are recorded.

  2. Udhaar lives in a diary

Today: A khata notebook with names and amounts, chased by phone calls or when the customer walks in.

With Finocket: Raise the bill on credit, see every pending amount on Outstanding, and send a WhatsApp reminder with a UPI pay link.

  3. Running out of fast movers

Today: The owner looks at the shelf and calls the distributor when something looks low.

With Finocket: Reorder levels on items, a low-stock list, and a draft purchase order from it.

Built for

  • Kirana and provision stores
  • General stores and mini-marts
  • Grocery shops with a home-delivery round
  • Dry fruit, masala and staples shops
  • Owners who bill alone or with one or two helpers at the counter

What you get

  • Scan to bill

Scan the barcode on a packet of biscuits or a bottle of oil and the line lands on the bill with its price and GST. Works with a USB or Bluetooth scanner that types the code like a keyboard. Scanning with the phone camera is not built.

  • MRP on every item

Keep the printed MRP against each item, so the selling price on the bill can be checked against the pack at the counter.

  • Loose or pre-packed

Mark each item as loose, pre-packed and labelled, or bulk. It is a label for you and your accountant; the GST rate is the one set on the item.

  • Net quantity

Record the net quantity the label declares, such as 1 kg or 500 ml, so two sizes of the same atta do not get mixed up on the shelf label.

  • Home delivery tick

Tick a bill as home delivery when the order goes out with your delivery boy, so you can see later which bills left the shop.

  • Counter bill and day close

A short retail bill to print or share on WhatsApp, and a day-close (Z report) that totals cash, card and UPI before you shut the shutter.

  • Cashier login

Give the person at the counter a cashier role, so they can bill without seeing your books or reports.

  • Brand on every item

Note the brand on each item. Counter reports then shows the units sold per brand from your bills, with items that have no brand listed together. It is a label you type: it does not change GST or pricing.
