Table bookings and your own online orders

Book a table for a party and seat them straight onto a bill, mark no-shows and cancellations, and take pickup and delivery requests on your own ordering link with no commission, accepting each into the kitchen or turning it down.

Two screens for a restaurant that takes guests before they walk in. Reservations is your table book: take a booking, see the day, and seat the party when they arrive. Online orders is your own ordering link: guests send a pickup or delivery request from it, and you accept it into the kitchen or turn it down.

Both work per outlet. If you have no outlet yet, the screen asks you to add one first, and a table booking also needs the outlet's tables laid out.

Taking a table booking

  1. Fill in the booking

    Open Reservations. If you have more than one outlet, pick the Outlet. Type the Guest name, the Phone (optional), the number of Guests and the Date and time.
  2. Pick a table, or leave it for later

    The Table list shows only the tables that are free at that time and seat the whole party, each with its number of seats. If none fits, the screen says No free table fits that party at that time. You can still choose Choose a table later and book the party without a table.
  3. Book

    Tap Book. A booking holds its table for an hour and a half. A table cannot be booked twice at overlapping times, and a party cannot be put on a table that is too small: if someone else took the table a moment before you, the booking is refused and you are asked to check the book. A booking can be made up to 120 days ahead, and not for a time that has already passed.

The guest's name and phone are kept only to run the booking and are shown to your staff only.

The day's book

Pick a Day to see its bookings, each with the time, the guest, the party size, the table (or No table yet) and where it stands: Booked, Seated, Cancelled or No-show. A booked party has three buttons:

  • Seat. Opens the dine-in bill on the booking's table, with the party size as the covers, and says Seated. The bill is open on the floor. A booking with no table cannot be seated until it has one. A seated booking then shows Open the floor.
  • No-show. Marks the party as not having come. It works only from 15 minutes after the booked time, so a party running a little late is not written off.
  • Cancel. Cancels the booking and frees the table.

If your role cannot make changes, the buttons answer You do not have permission to change this.

Taking orders on your own link

Open Online orders and pick the Outlet if you have more than one. Under Your ordering link, tap Copy link and share it on your website, Instagram or WhatsApp. Guests pay you at pickup or on delivery; there is no commission. If the screen says The link cannot be made on this deployment yet., the link is not available to share yet.

What a guest sends is a request. It touches no bill, no stock and no kitchen ticket until you accept it. Each request shows its reference, Pickup or Delivery, the time, the total, the guest's name and phone (tap the number to call), the delivery address and the dishes. The list refreshes by itself while the screen is open.

  • Accept. Opens a takeaway or own-delivery bill with every dish on it and sends it to the kitchen screen: Accepted. The order is on the kitchen screen. An accepted request shows Open the kitchen.
  • Turn down. Pick the Reason first: Closed, Sold out, Too far or Too busy. Call the guest to tell them; the screen does not message them for you.

If someone else already decided the request, or a dish went off the menu meanwhile, you are told and nothing is billed twice.

What your guest sees

The link opens a page headed Order from and your outlet's name. It needs no login. The guest:

  • answers How would you like it? with Pickup or Delivery;
  • adds dishes one at a time and takes one away again. Dishes marked sold out, and dishes that need a choice made with the waiter, are not on this menu;
  • types their name, phone number and, for delivery, the delivery address, plus an optional note for the kitchen;
  • taps Send my order and sees Request sent, with a reference and the total, and that the restaurant will confirm it by phone.

The page tells the guest that they pay when they collect or receive the order and that nothing is charged there. If too many requests are already waiting at your outlet, the guest is asked to try again in a few minutes or to call you.
