What you set up

Apparel retail businesses run on the Growth plan, which turns on 27 modules:

Turn any of these off if you don't need them - see setting Finocket up for your trade for the two decisions worth getting right on day one.

What you'll do day to day

Scan, split the payment, print

Signed in as a staff member, open /pos. Sign in as the counter cashier: scan a kurta, split the bill between UPI and cash, print or WhatsApp the receipt.

An honest close

Signed in as a staff member, open /pos/z-report. The Z-report: opening float, UPI and cash, and the over/short for the day.

Exchange a size, restock the shelf

Signed in as a staff member, open /pos/exchange. Type bill BO/2026-27/4463 (today's three-line counter bill) and exchange a line: the credit note posts, the item goes back on the shelf, GSTR-1 sees it.

A loyalty programme the shop actually runs

Signed in as the owner, open /loyalty/program. Tiers, members and points earned on every bill, with the expiry rule.

Goods received against the order

Signed in as an admin, open /procurement. Forty kurtas received against a purchase order; stock moves and the bill releases the accrual.

A festive offer the till applies by itself

Signed in as the owner, open /promotions. The running offers - percent off, flat off and buy-x-get-y - and the bills each one was applied to.

Gift vouchers sold and redeemed

Signed in as the owner, open /vouchers. A batch of gift vouchers: which were sold, which came back as a tender, and what is still outstanding.

A barcode on every size

Signed in as an admin, open /items/labels. Print Code128 labels for the kurtas, one per size, with the check digit computed for EAN codes.

The back store tops up the shop floor

Signed in as an admin, open /inventory/transfers. Posted transfers from the Back Store to the Shop Floor Stock; both locations move.

A one-counter Coimbatore boutique on the Growth plan

Before: A billing machine at the counter, a separate stock register, and a loyalty card nobody tracked.

With Finocket: One till that bills, takes split payments and closes the day; loyalty points on every bill; stock received against purchase orders.
