What you'll do day to day
The bill of materials is the costing
Signed in as a staff member, open /manufacturing?tab=boms. Open the E-Rickshaw Passenger (L3) BOM: raw materials and routing roll up into one cost per unit of e-rickshaws.
A work order from plan to finished stock
Signed in as a staff member, open /manufacturing?tab=workorders. One draft, one in progress, one completed - start a draft and walk it through its routing steps.
Production consumes raw, yields finished
Signed in as a staff member, open /manufacturing?tab=production. A completed run: raw material out, finished goods in at the rolled-up cost, labour from the work centres included.
Capacity by work centre
Signed in as a staff member, open /manufacturing?tab=capacity. Which work centre is the bottleneck this week, from the open work orders' routing minutes.
Every vehicle has a VIN
Signed in as a staff member, open /items. Open the L3 model: VINs produced by each run, in stock at the yard or sold on a dealer invoice.
Vehicle and spare on one return
Signed in as the accountant, open /gst/returns. GSTR-1 carries vehicle and spare battery pack lines, each at the rate set on the item.
Powder coating is a step done outside
Signed in as a staff member, open /manufacturing?tab=workcenters. The L5 routing sends the welded frame to Focal Point Powder Coaters, set up as an outside work centre with its own rate and daily minutes.
Job-work bills as their own expense line
Signed in as the accountant, open /expenses. The powder coater's bills booked under Job Work - Powder Coating, the contractor payment TDS 194C applies to.
A Ludhiana EV plant where every vehicle carries its VIN from the line
Before: Assembly cost estimated per model, VINs typed onto dealer invoices, and spares billed at a different rate from vehicles.
With Finocket: Each model's BOM is its cost; routing adds line labour; each vehicle produced gets its VIN and is sold against it; each line at the rate set on the item.
